X Crèm is not your typical ice cream shop. It is Austin's one and only cocktail and dessert lounge. X Crem's colorful menu offerings and eccentric vibe has made it an Eastside destination for late-night treats, craft cocktails, and specialty ice cream.
X Crèm hired Soren Creative to promote their Boozy Shakes/Cocktail Menu Launch and increase the store's overall awareness. We were given one month to execute a strategy that would generate an enormous amount of hype. With this time crunch in mind, we planned a Boozy Launch Party that would be the pinnacle of our marketing efforts. We executed this campaign by implementing branding strategies, social media marketing, paid advertising, influencer outreach, and on-the-ground marketing. Overall the Launch Party was a huge success, with hundreds of attendees generating X Crèm enough sales to jump start the new year. Additionally, the marketing lead-up to this event elevated the store's online presence, gaining their socials hundreds of followers, influencers collabs, and a feature in Eater Austin.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Before working with Soren Creative, X Crèm did not have a strong Social Media presence, posting was inconsistent, and feed content was not engaging.
We developed an effective social media strategy combining aesthetic branded content, consistent messaging, UGC, and outreach to keep customers engaged and excited about new store promotions. Within a month, we increased Instagram reach by 2.4k% and Facebook reach by 100%. Additionally, we increased Facebook followers by 100% and Instagram followers by 432.7%, translating to over 500 new Instagram followers in just 30 days!
INFLUENCERS
Working with influencers was a key element of our strategy for the Boozy Launch Party. We formed partnerships with highly relevant influencers that created content for new menu items and the Launch party to share with their engaged audiences. Additionally, we helped the store secure a feature in Eater Austin. Local food Influencers and bloggers were an essential part of gaining credibility and helping spread awareness for X Crèm in food communities.
MEDIA
We aimed to create a unique media aesthetic for X Crèm that captured the quirky concept of the store. Given that socials were our intended medium, we developed content well-suited for feeds, reels, and stories. In terms of content style, we focused on lifestyle, capturing the energy of the in-store experience rather than studio shots of the menu items.

GRAPHIC DESIGN
Using X Crèm’s logo colors as a jumping-off point, we created unique design assets that enhanced brand recognition and could be used across all mediums. Our team incorporated these design elements in social media graphics, highlight reels, and branded story content. Additionally, we used these design assets to create posters, flyers, and advertisements for X Crèm.
EVENT MARKETING
The goal of this party was to create new menu exposure, increase sales and encourage in-person traffic to the store. The execution of the party included developing a theme, establishing a timeline, budgeting, hiring two of Austin’s best local Dj’s, arranging equipment and deploying all our marketing efforts. In addition to our strong push for this party on socials & paid ads, we incorporated on-the-ground & WOM (word-of-mouth) marketing into our strategy, including designing flyers to hang up in popular Austin hot-spots and creating a sharable RSVP Link for party go-ers to receive exclusive updates, reminders, and notifications. Overall, this launch party was a HUGE success! X Crèm saw the largest customer turnout to date, and our marketing efforts continue to generate buzz for the store.
