My Story started with Jackie Cohen's idea to make a simple birthstone ring to celebrate her story of motherhood and her adoption journey. Now her brand has expanded to offer vibrant collections of sentimental & customizable jewelry designed to encourage women to honor their own story.

My Story hired Soren to build the brand's online personality to increase awareness and sales. Our goal was to capture the spirit of the brand through aesthetic media, high-quality content & campaign-based promotion. Our promotional campaigns focused on new product collections, sales, events, and holidays. We implemented these campaigns through social media marketing, email marketing, SEO, and Google Ads. Additionally, we developed a paid search strategy for the My Story website and implemented keyword coding to help with user experience.

Our goal for socials was to represent My Story's core identity in a refreshing new style. We wanted to build an even stronger connection with existing followers to increase customer loyalty and repeat sales while also appealing to new audiences to expand the brand's reach. Our strategy included sprucing up feeds to keep followers engaged, consistent posting, tactical messaging, and curating an overall brand aesthetic.

MEDIA

Before My Story worked with Soren the media quality and aesthetic were inconsistent. We saw the opportunity to curate a distant look and feel for the brand. In terms of style, we focused on macro studio shots so customers could see the quality of the jewelry close-up, combined with lifestyle elements and styling inspo to show collection versatility. Socials were our intended medium, so we captured media well-suited for feeds, stories, and reels. Additionally, We created a “get to know the designer” video series that involved us interviewing Jackie Cohen in her favorite restaurants and bars around NYC.

EMAIL MARKETING

Email marketing was integral to our campaign integration, allowing us to share information about the brand directly with customers. We wanted My Story's email list subscribers to feel like VIP's offering discounts, early access to sales, and exclusive brand updates. This strategy strengthened the customer's connection to My Story and increased the opportunity for repeat sales.

ADVERTISING

We used Facebook and Instagram to reach target audiences in high volume, turning engaged social media fans into new customers. By utilizing geofencing and consumer insight data, we got the My Story Ads in front of the right people, which led to increased brand awareness and sales.
